Mayor’s office unveils deal with developers to keep Enright public

I am a freelance writer for Print, Pittsburgh’s East End community newspaper, published and distributed exclusively in print. On March 22, 2016, hours after a public hearing before Pittsburgh City Council where residents spoke and submitted written testimonies about the issues surrounding the future of Enright Parklet and LG Realty’s development proposal for the adjacent Penn Plaza buildings, Mayor Bill Peduto’s office issued a statement that the administration had made an agreement with the developers to keep the park public. Read about the decision and hearing below, scanned from the original March 23-30, 2016 edition of Print, or click here to view the pieces in a separate tab.

This was both mine and Print’s first breaking news story.
